It’s not too early to start preparing for winter, and the Randolph Energy Committee, in collaboration with Efficiency Vermont and Bethel Mills / Central Supplies, wants to help! On Saturday October 16, from 10 AM to 2 PM, they will host a weatherization workshop at Central Supplies in Randolph. All kinds of information will be provided to help you save money, save energy, and be more comfortable this winter. Here is just some of what you can expect:
Experts from Bethel Mills and Central Supplies will show you how to insulate your doors and windows. You will also see demonstrations of electric lawn mowers and other power tools. Catamount Solar will have information about their products, too.
Becca White, Efficiency Vermont Outreach Coordinator, will speak about incentives for heat and hot water heat pumps, home battery storage programs, home energy loans, and electric vehicles.
The Randolph and Bethel Energy Committees will provide more information about how to save energy, and to discuss their plans for the coming year.
In case you need more reasons to come out for this event, here are some additional incentives:
- Free LED light bulbs, provided by Efficiency Vermont
- Discount coupons from Central Supplies
- Prizes include raffle for Central Supplies $25 gift cards!
- Free coffee, juice, and pastries!
